How "Events by Eden" Began

Born into a catering family in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, Eden learned from an early age how to throw a great party and take care of others. Her mom taught her how to cook and bake—skills she has since passed on to her own daughters—but more importantly, she learned the art of presentation: how to plate food beautifully and arrange trays that delight both the eye and the appetite.

Eden grew up in Rockland County, NY and spent years working in restaurants as a server and trainer, before moving back to the Illinois suburbs to become a Catering Manager.  Whether hosting or attending a party, she was always drawn to the kitchen—arriving early, staying late, and helping wherever she was needed.

Now living in Arizona’s East Valley, Eden continues to bring people together through food, helping with small family gatherings, dinner parties, and holiday celebrations. Having lost her grandparents, parents, and many close relatives and friends, she understands the comfort that family, friends, and shared meals provide in times of both joy and grief. Too often, she saw loved ones busy setting up for gatherings or Shivas when she wished they could simply be present with one another.

That realization inspired her to create Shivas by Eden, which later grew into Events by Eden—a way to help families and friends focus on what truly matters: being together.
